The Blanks will perform in Algona on Sunday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the O.B. Laing Middle School Auditorium. Proceeds of the show, produced by Kossuth Regional Health Center and sponsored by the Haggard Twogood Charitable Trust, will go towards the Dialysis Campaign at KRHC. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students (including college students). Tickets will soon be available at the hospital front desk at Kossuth Regional Health Center and the Algona Chamber of Commerce. The Blanks are a group of four friends that sing together, using just their own voices and the occasional talking toy, hand clap, finger snap or thigh slap. Sam Lloyd, the lead tenor, along with Philip McNiven as countertenor, George Miserlis as baritone and Paul F. Perry as bass, make up the group. The quartet began singing together on the popular TV medical comedy “Scrubs” before performing on stage as The Blanks. For more information contact Kossuth Regional Health Center at 515-295-2451.
