Rehabilitation

Kossuth Regional Health Center is your home for recovery care.  Our team works in conjunction with area physicians as well as specialists from other facilities across our region to care for you after surgery, injury or other medical procedures. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available.

KRHC offers the following rehab services:

• Physical Therapy - This service provides an evaluation and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary diagnoses to patients of all ages.
• Occupational Therapy - This department works with people of all ages who because of physical, developmental, social or emotional problem need specialized assistance to lead productive lives.
• Speech Therapy - The Speech Therapist works to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults. 
• Pulmonary Rehabilitation - This helps patients with lung disease such as chronic bronchitis, emphysema and asthma.
• Cardiac Rehabilitation  - This is a program of education, exercise, and cardiac monitoring for patients after a heart event.
• Pediatric Therapy - This program assists children in their specific area of need whether it be: cognitive, physical, social and/or motor ability, with the goal of improving everyday skills.
• Cardiac Stress Testing
• Respiratory Therapy
