Medical Assistance Program

Kossuth Regional Health Center recently increased its efforts to help low-income and indigent older people to gain access to pharmaceutical manufacturers patient assistance programs. Many low-income and indigent patients who fail to comply with their doctor’s directions are forced to do so because they cannot afford the prescribed drugs. But non-compliance is harmful to their health status and well-being and hampers doctors’ efforts to maintain or improve the patient’s health status.
