KRHC capital campaign for a three story addition

Thank you to the many generous donors who contributed to our "Transforming Healthcare, Building for the Future" campaign.  This fall the KRHC Foundation reached its goal of $1.5 million towards the $13.5 million project. 

The three-story addition will allow for private inpatient rooms, each equipped with a full private bath, and will also bring about improvements on the first floor of the hospital, restructuring the dining area, kitchen and materials management area.  The physical therapy department will be relocated to the second floor with increased space as part of the project.

The campaign was recently extended to include an additional $250,000 for an expanded dialysis unit.  Funds are being raised to add an additional dialysis chair and relocate the unit to a place that will allow for increased privacy, a family waiting area and a handicap accessible entrance.

KRHC's three-story addition will be built onto the backside of the hospital and create private rooms for all inpatients as well as significant changes to the cafeteria and the purchasing department.
